Wake up and give thanks for what you have. List the many things that make you lucky to be alive every day - a roof over your head, a cozy bed, a loving family, good friends, food at hand, sun in the sky, water to drink, etc. With developing an attitude of gratitude at the start of your day, you’re setting yourself up for success for the rest of it. Go one step further and give thanks for the things you don’t yet have – pretend it is already here, within you, coming to you. Your outer reality is determined by your inner state of mind. Appreciating what you already have tells the universe that you’re thankful and makes the universe want to give you even more to be thankful for!
